About Sathya Educare Competency Trust
Sathya Educare Competency Trust (SECT) was established in 2016 with a strong desire to manifest some level of lasting improvement in education and eldercare. After identifying significant gaps and an urgent need to improve competency of teachers and caregivers taking care of elders, the trustees assembled a team of like-minded professionals to implement a systematic improvement program.
The SECT team comprises of experienced professionals hailing from backgrounds including teacher education, and healthcare. Each member brings a vital set of skills and expertise, creating a multifaceted approach to achieving our objectives.
Our education team, at the heart of the operation, consists of dedicated teacher educators on full-time staff as well as a roster of subject experts. This skilled team creates and implements innovative training programmes, followed by sustained coaching and mentoring to helping to raise the standard of teaching across the board.
Our eldercare team, containing individuals with a deep understanding of senior care and caregiver training, channels this knowledge towards developing caregivers and offering effective elder support. This ensures that SECT is not only a training provider but a contributor to enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
