PCK & Resource Design and Deployment

Our objective in this dimension is to enhance the content knowledge of teachers and deliver that content with the most appropriate pedagogical approaches. Here we also intend to design teaching and learning material for each subject and for each grade and integrate that into teaching material while aligning with the prescribed curriculum for each subject and for each grade and then deploy training using this for the teachers in the select schools we are working with.

Program 1 – PCK and Resource Development

The maiden PCK program was conducted for the Science and Maths teachers of the Vidya Bharathi Schools. An orientation how to the blend of Pedagogical Knowledge with Content Knowledge was the core of the program. Subject-wise demonstrations and inputs were given to explore this in different units.
